Went to see seminal electro snyth band Yaz (a.k.a. Yazoo) LIVE at the Chicago Theater on Monday. For those who don’t know, Yaz is comprised of Alison Moyet — who inspired Hercules & Love Affair — and also stoic baldy Vince Clarke of Depeche Mode. Their biggest hits were “Situation” — which I could listen to every day til the end of time — , “Only You” and “Don’t Go” . I got video of the latter performed live at the show … Check it out!
