JOKERS OF THE SCENE NEW MIXTAPE
Who doesn’t love themselves a pair of cool Canadians? I interviewed Jokers Of The Scene (JOTS) at an Armani event last March in Miami and they made me laugh the whole time. I guess the name fits? Anyway, the Ottawa dudes — who are signed to ATrak’s Fools’ Gold recs — are coming correct with a new mixtape done for NY’s Mishka, launching a mixtape series called “Keep Watch.” JOTS have laid claim to the first installment. The mix apparently celebrates the duo’s 5th anniversary of their club night Disorganised, which hosted earliest Canadian appearances of such party heroes like MSTRKRFT, CSS, Diplo, Crystal Castles and Girl Talk.
